Cheerleading.

Well, this week in cheer we have been focusing on stunting. For those of you that don't know what stunting is, it is where a group of maybe 3 or 4 people hold a girl up in the air while she is doing a stunt, hence the word STUNTING. If only one person is holding the girl up by him or herself, that is called a partner stunt or a "one man." My coach is really trying to push on me to get a one man down. What she is invisioning by Fall sports season, is for me to do a toss to hands, which is where the girl stands in front of me, i grab her hips, throw her in the air, then catch her by her feet at shoulder length. Once we are stable, I fully extend my arms above my head, with her feet still in my hands. I am nowhere near that stage yet, but I will hopefully by the end of summer.

Here is a picture of a competitive cheer team doing some stunts. Instead of just the basic stunt, all of the flyers are doing a stunt called Scorpions.

My school has a pretty good cheer team. We have a lot of really strong people on the team, so by football season we are hoping to have 3 people able to do one mans (Me, Kristana and Becca).

Our team has a longggg way to go, me especially being a newcumber to this cheer thing.
Ohh, and did I mention I was the only guy on the cheerleading squad? haha..
